NORTH OF QATAR

Overview

An air- conditioned with a guide will pick you up for your tour to the North of Qatar. A one-hour drive takes us to Al Khor City to see the country boats being built by craftsmen a great spot for photos! Next, we'll visit the Thakhira Mangrove swamp at Al Thakira and watch the birds. We will then explore an old deserted Qatari village where the original homes were made of lime stone and mud mortar. After that, we'll drive to the extreme northern tip of Qatar, stopping en route at a restaurant for lunch. Then we'll visit Al Zubara Fort and learn about its history from our tour guide. The last stop will be the abandoned village of Al Jumail before returning to Doha City
